Support material for dance applications

It is important for filmmakers applying for dance film funding to properly identify any video support material that is submitted. In particular, if the footage shows a dance performance, is it an example of the performance to be filmed, or, is it meant to show the style and/or quality of film the director is capable of?

"Fly"

With assistance from Screen Innovation, choreographer Shona McCullagh made a dance film entitled, "Fly". It has been one of the most screened of all SIPF films and has won at least 6 awards at dance film festivals around the world.

Shona later went on to work on Peter Jackson's, "Lord of The Rings", assisting Andy Serkis, the clever actor who gave movement and form to Gollum.
