Digital features

The maximum amount that can be requested for a feature film is $25,000. Proposals must be carefully planned and budgeted for, and must illustrate that a feature of good quality is achievable on a limited budget.

Please note that applications for post-production funding must be accompanied by the script and by a rough cut of the film (or at least a substantial sequence) that will aid the panel in their decision-making.

Five copies are required for the panel to view the support material in its entirety before the funding meeting. (There is not sufficient time to watch feature length projects at the meeting so copies are sent to members of the panel to view while they are reading and assessing application, one month before the actual meeting day.)

For post-production applications, filming for the project should be finished by the time the funding applications are submitted. (There are two funding rounds per year with deadlines on the last Friday of February and July.)

There is no guarantee that a project funded for the production phase will be funded for post-production.
